Shanna daily energy conservation pays off

Shanna Synthetic Rubber Group Co Ltd carries out a daily improvement activity themed "identify and eliminate wastes around". Sixty three projects have been completed with benefits equal to 3.90 million yuan ($618,000).

The Storage Department assigned persons to sort the raschig rings replaced from towers of the monomer workshop for reusing. More than four million cubic meters raschig rings have been reused, saving 760,000 yuan.

Chlor-alkali workshop implements "electricity conservation of the acidic circulating water system" and may save 1,021,416kwh of electricity a year.
